Political, social and economic change is all around us. New governments replace old, and economies rise and fall. Both of these factors determine the social well being of a population and the condition of the business climate. The ease with which we are now able to gather information from the Internet and multiple other sources means that there is now little excuse for not keeping up to date.
We have created two levels of report. This is for two reasons: to give our customers an opportunity to assess our quality; second, to provide cost-effective options for all of our customers. So if you like what you see with our PREVIEW reports, we are sure that you will be happy with the additional detail and value for money provided by our LEVELTWO reports.
Exportaid’s Country Reports will help you both to obtain new information and also to confirm information that may have been obtained via other sources. Our information comes from highly reputable sources, and where possible each fact and figure has been checked at least three times before publication. The variable quality of available data sources between countries means that there are not always three reputable sources to check. Therefore, estimated figures are clearly labelled with the letter ‘E’, and where we do not have reliable information, you will see an ‘Awaiting Data’ message. All website links are checked regularly for currency, and we update those that may have changed.

- Chambers of Commerce & Industry for each country
- International Chamber of Commerce
- World Trade Organisation
- United Nations
- Economist
- World Fact Book
- European Union
- Foreign & Commonwealth Office
Significant additional sources are used to compile and confirm specific data for each country, and for each level of report. A sample of each report type is available so that you can check the format and detail provided for each.
